"Humans are masters of deception. We use our minds and behavior continually to try to trick people into believing what is not true…that we're tougher, smarter, sexier, more reliable, more trustworthy than we really are."
-Paul Bloom, Professor of Psychology and Cognitive Science at Yale University
Its my opinion that like in facebook, the blogging world has transformed reality from a reference point of someones life, into something extraneous and surreal, falling short only of, the self-promoting fame whoreness that is, lets say reality shows? I don't seem to find a closer description, because there are limits to what reality is willing to offer ordinary people which doesn't seem to apply on the blogging world.
In your blog you don't have to mention the facts, for example that you never had a car or that you commute by bus and find it too expensive to get from one place to another. You don't mention that its bordering the obscene to eat a meal out and you still can't go to the dentist to fix the toothache from hell that you been having.
No one mention as well that some of those clothes/bag/shoes/house/yacht they are parading are from some more fortunate friend, neither anyone find it relevant to state that they are anorexic/overweight and the skin or hair just wont help either.
And they quote the great masters and they know the latest fashions, they have visited every country in the world and have eaten every delicacy, nothing of these trivial things mentioned above matters because in a blogger world's perspective you are a frigging Superstar.
So blogging they continue, knitting the web of illusions into some ignorant low life mind's like mine, who can't figure out why I, amongst all can't seem to afford/know/understand anything everyone else can easily do. The thing that doesn't occur to many of us, is that just like in a reality show, the knowledge and engagement of ostensible stuff people do in their blogs, can be and almost always are...wonderfully staged.

So for that reason its is easier than ever before to trick people into believing that you are smarter, sexier, tougher, stronger, more intelligent, knowledgeable and sensitive than you are in reality.
Then how is all that even possible? For sure the person must know or have done something to be showing the results with photos/videos/articles, right? I agree and truly don't believe bloggers are devoid of their knowledge, but to me it comes all down to one thing: The internet has no sensible timeline.
I mean you never know how long it takes in fact for someone to accomplish whatever they are saying/showing/explaining, as you grasp the authors life's happenings from post to post, not or hardly ever on a day to day basis, it appears that their feats are mightier than they really are. Therefore you don't know what happens, you know what you are told.
Having this feeling that its awfully easy to make the illusion happen I also understand that blogs have transformed from just, simple entertaining material and have in such a short period become a fully developed activity and turning the term "blogger" into a honorable profession.
It still doesn't seem very difficult to fabricate a glorified image of ourselves just for indulgence, and so silly of me to think that only television was here for that.
I myself always had the dream of becoming a writer, until one day when my dear and highly qualified father, read one of my essays and told me he didn't understand what my point was and that's why I got an F. He was my teacher at the time.
Still here I am writing on my blog, thanks to the internet, and you there reading it thanks a lot, I love you, but don't try to get the point of this article there isn't any whatsoever. (also one tip if you are trying to make a post and want to look more inteliggent than you really are, throw in a random quote.)
"But in our research, and in the work of other scholars who study the psychology of behavioral ethics, we have found that … [human] conduct, whether in social life or work life, happens because people are unconsciously fooling themselves." - WATNGISF
The secret to a successful blogging life, it turns out, isn't knowing about things. It's convincing others to validate that you do. So beware readers, I am not here trying to change your life or even mine with this blog, its all just to make me appear smarter, funnier, sexier than I really am.
