The restaurant seemed to offer almost all the cuisines (that they possibly could think of). The banners presented as such that it is like 'icing of the cake' for them to present all that. The food spread on the menu was meant to seem...Subtle .... Like handpicked ... Mastered on.
The ambience (after all those matching to a funeral in England) was nicely lit, comfortably cool, well arranged and the fact that there weren't many customers there helped and yeah it was comfortably quite as explained (as we were about to enter we couldn't make out if it was open or not but we could see some tables occupied one to be precise.
The staff complemented the ambience very well they were very polite, cool, well arranged and the fact that there weren't many customers helped it (maybe because they were a pinch too slow). They were attentive though and understood everything properly and not in hurry to kick out the customers to accommodate others which is relevant elsewhere (not only in Hyderabad).
The food was actually nice, presentation was good and the fact that they had such little menu helped it I guess.
What we ate:
Broccoli Tidbits
We had a Three course meal which was really good, the quantity of the starters may not be that much but the rest was sufficient. Something that we really appreciated was not to find green chilly pieces in the food which we (strictly my wife and myself) are so used to see in Hyderabad, also it wasn't too spicy but mild as expected.
Cost wise for two people a 3 course meal came to INR 1200 which I assume is a bit costly but for many it might be OK.
Overall it was a good experience with nice food :-), we will surely would go next time.
Grills 'N' Steaks (17th April, 2011)
City: Hyderabad
Location: Indra Nagar (near DLF signal)
Cuisine: North Indian, South Indian, Italian, Sizzler's
With a name like that (and stomach like mine) we went with the expectation of Sizzler's, some great ones. It was on the third floor and the option to get to it is by lift (at least when we went there, we tried to take stairs while getting down but no lights in the stairway and it seemed blocked on the first floor) and didn't see any fire exits sign.
